It is however a very disappointing event as spectators try to shy away from the venue due to bomb threats, technical problems, and other issues that completely dampen the grand opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games last October 3, 2010.

The Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) Blue Eagles recovered in time, to earn a historic three-peat, by winning Game 2 of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 73 Finals versus the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws, 65-62. The Blue Eagles sweep the best-of-three series against the Tamaraws, 2-0, for their third straight men’s basketball title and fifth overall since joining the UAAP.
Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) Blue Eagles won game 1 of the best-of-three series versus the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws, 72-49. The Blue Eagles started like a house on fire to lead early in the game and never looked back against the Tamaraws. Ateneo used its defensive prowess to offset the offense of FEU.
Season 73 of the University Athletics Association of the Philippines (UAAP) will start its men’s basketball finals today, September 25, 2010. Game time is at 4:20 p.m. at the Araneta Coliseum, Cubao, Quezon City.
