Pacquiao vs Bradley: Face-off at Weigh-in

Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao faced U.S. boxer Timothy Bradley Jr. during the official weigh-in at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday, June 8, 2012.

The Pacquiao versus Bradley bout will be held on Saturday, June 9 (Sunday in Manila).

Pacquiao will be defending his WBO welterweight title against the undefeated Bradley.

Both boxers flexes their muscles and showed that they are in good condition while on the scales.

Edith Wilma Connor was certified as the “World’s Oldest Female Bodybuilder” by the Guinness World Records last May 10, 2012.

Connor, a 77-year-old grandmother, has three sons, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She won first place at the Grand Masters competition in Las Vegas when she was 60-years-old.

The oldest female bodybuilder got actively involved in weights after winning her first bodybuilding event. Connor revealed that winning the Guinness World Record title made her bodybuilding activity “a lot of fun and I relish the attention [my] unusual hobby-age combination attracts.”

San Antonio Spurs Beats OKC Thunder for 9th Straight NBA Playoff Game Win

The San Antonio Spurs rallied to take game 1 of the 2012 NBA Western Conference Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, 101-98. It was the Spurs’ 19th straight win.

The Spurs matched the fourth-longest streak in NBA history, and with one more will become just the fourth team to surpass 20.

Manu Ginobili scored 26 points as the Spurs denied a near Thunder upset. Tim Duncan had 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Tony Parker added 18 points.

Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 27 points. Russell Westbrook had 17.

After being held to just 16 third-quarter points, San Antonio scored 39 in the fourth.

Harden lost his matchup with Ginobili, the 2008 Sixth Man of the Year winner. Harden finished with 19 points on 7-of-17 shooting but missed nine of his first 12 shots.

Game 2 is Tuesday night at the AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX.

Olympian Lolo Jones reveals that she is still a virgin during an interview with Bryant Gumbel’s HBO Real Sports’ Tuesday episode.

The 29-year-old Jones is a beautiful, intelligent Olympic athlete but remains single.

Jones explained that she tried every online dating service but haven’t find her Mr. Right.

In a tweet last March 12, Jones “Yes I’m a virgin. #1 reason why I’m single bc guys deuce out when I won’t put out. I do so to honor God & future husband,” she tweeted on March 12.

The Los Angeles Lakers were stunned as the Oklahoma City Thunder rallied to win Game 4 of the 2012 NBA Western Semifinals, 103-100.

Kevin Durant hit a 3-pointer over Metta World Peace with 13.7 seconds left in the game. Durant gave the Thunder the lead to complete the Thunder’s fourth-quarter comeback to top the Lakers.

Russel Westbrook, who ignited OKC’s fourth quarter rally, scored 37 points for the Thunder. Durant added 31 points and Serge Ibaka scored 14 points for Oklahoma City.

Kobe Bryant led LA with 38 points. Andrew Bynum added 18 points for the Lakers.

OKC Thunder is now one win away from their second straight trip to the NBA Western Conference finals.

Game 5 of the 2012 NBA Western Conference Semifinals between the Lakers and Thunder is schedule on Monday night, May 21 in Oklahoma City.
