Orlando Magic Shoot down Atlanta Hawks in Game 3 | 2010 NBA Playoffs

Orlando Magic now smells blood as they won Game 3 of their Eastern Semi Finals against the Atlanta Hawks.  Dwight Howard again led the onslaught as the Magic took an early lead in the game.  The Magic defeated the Hawks, 105-75 to take a commanding 3-0 lead.  No NBA team has ever come back from 0-3 deficit and win in a seven game series.

Orlando Magic Will Host The 2012 NBA All-Star Game

The Orlando Magic will again be the host of the 2012 NBA All-Star game after twenty years.  Orlando will host the week long activities in the new Magic arena.  The Magic last held the All-Star game in 1992. Magic Johnson got the Most Valuable Player in that All Star game after returning from retirement in basketball, because of HIV.

LA Lakers won Game 1 against Utah Jazz | NBA Western Conference Semi Finals

The Los Angeles Lakers took Game 1 of the 2010 NBA Western Conference Semi Finals against the Utah Jazz, 104-99.  Kobe Bryant scored 31 points and Pau Gasol added 25 points as the Lakers now leads the best of seven series, 1-0.  Game two will be played in LA.

Bryant scored 11 of his 31 points in the final four minutes. The LA superstar led the Lakers, who blew a fourth-quarter lead, to rally for victory over the Jazz in their second-round series opener Sunday.  Lakers coach Phil Jackson’s record now stands at 45-0 in playoff series after winning the first game, that includes 21-0 with Los Angeles.

Carlos Boozer had 18 points and 12 rebounds for Utah. Paul Millsap and C.J. Miles both added 16 points, which included several difficult baskets in the fourth quarter as the Jazz surged ahead with a 12-1 run.

Floyd Mayweather Jr magnificently outboxed future hall of famer Shane Mosley over 12 rounds.  Mayweather Jr never got into any serious trouble throughout the fight as he showed his boxing skills and speed in defeating Mosley unanimously. Two of the judges scored the bout,  119-109 while the third judge saw it at 118-110 all for Mayweather.
