The official ABS-CBN sports fan page announced Thursday, September 15, 2011 that it will be airing the UAAP Season 74 Finals live on ABS-CBN Channel 2.
Below is the complete schedule of the UAAP Season 74 Finals.
- Game 1 – September 24 live on ABS-CBN Channel 2
- Game 2 – September 27 live on Studio 23
- Game 3 (if necessary) – October 1 live on ABS-CBN Channel 2
As of posting, Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) Blue Eagles is waiting for a finals opponent after defeating the University of Santo Tomas in their semi-finals encounter, 69-66, at the Araneta Coliseum.
Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws and Adamson University (AdU) will be in a do-or-die game on Sunday, September 18.
UAAP Season 74 Men’s Basketball tournament will start on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the Araneta Coliseum with the De La Salle Green Archers taking on Far Eastern University Tamaraws at 1 pm.
Three-time UAAP Men’s Basketball champion, Ateneo Blue Eagles will start their quest for a fourth title against the Adamson Falcons at 3 pm.

The 2011 NBA Finals Game 2 between the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks, will be played on Thursday night, June 2, 2011 at the American Airlines Arena, in Miami, Florida, according to a report at NBA.com. Other reports say that it will be aired live on ABC and ABS-CBN television channels.
Miami leads the best-of-seven series versus Dallas, 1-0, after winning Game 1 last Tuesday, May 31. The Heat rallied in the third quarter against the Mavericks to win, 92-84.
Defense was the key to the Heat‘s victory in Game 1 as they limited the Mavericks to a low 37.3 percent field goal shooting.
Dallas will try to bounce back in Game 2 of the 2011 NBA Finals, after losing steam in Game 1.
Game 2 tip-off will be 9 pm ET. It will also be aired live in the Philippines on Friday, June 3 at 9 am on ABS-CBN‘s Channel 2.
According to ABS-CBN, Game 2 replay will be shown on the same day on Studio 23 at 7 p.m.
Game 1 of the 2011 NBA Finals 2011 between the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat will played on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, according to NBA.com.
Miami Heat superstar LeBron James scored 28 points and Dwyane Wade added 21 points to finish off their best-of-seven series against the Chicago Bulls in five games.
The Heat rallied back to win versus the Bulls, 83-80, to set the stage for the NBA Finals 2011 showdown against the Mavericks.

The Boston Celtics wins over the Miami Heat, 88-80. The Celtics‘s hold off a fierce rally by the Heat in the fourth quarter of the NBA 2010-11 Regular Season openinge game. Ray Allen led Boston with 20 points, Paul Pierce added 19 points, and Rajon Rondo orchestrated the game for the Celtics with 17 assists. LeBron James had a game-high 31 points, but, committed eight turnovers for Miami. Dwyane Wade had a disappointing opening night, and only scored 13 points for Miami.
The Celtics led by as much as 19 points in the game. With Shaquille O’Neal having a big opening game, the Celtics raced to an early third quarter lead, 50-32. O’Neal scored nine poinst and received a standing ovation for making his first two free throw attempts as a Celtic. James tried desperately to rally the Heat as he scored seven straight points. A layup by James reduced the Celtics lead, 63-57 at the end of the third quarter.
Late in the fourth quarter, James scored on a driving layup to bring the Heat to within three, 83-80. However, Allen connected on a three pointer to doused off the Miami rally.
