XBox SmartGlass application was unveiled by Microsoft on Monday, June 4, 2012. The presentation of the SmartGlass was made ahead of the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).
A C/NET report said that Microsoft’s SmartGlass is a new multiscreen entertainment platform that lets users beam content from any mobile devices to an Xbox 360.
According to Microsoft, SmartGlass will is a cross-platform application that will work on Windows, Windows Phone, Xbox 360, Android and iOS.
