Yohio, Seremedy band’s Japanese rock star who looks and dresses like a woman and a real-life doll, is actually a Swedish teenage boy.
Looking at Yohio will make one believe that he’s a woman. However, when he starts to speak, you will notice that difference.
The 16-year-old Yohio dresses like a doll, sounds like a man and plays guitar. Yohio is fluent in speaking several languages that include Japanese, English and Swedish.
Reports say that Yohio has a huge following in Japan. Teenage girls were all praises for Yohio because of his “feminine beauty”.
Yohio reportedly describes himself as a “bishonen,” which means a “beautiful boy” in Japanese.
The Swedish teen joined a Visual Kei band called Seremedy which was signed by Universal Music Japan. Yohio released his solo mini album debut entitled, Reach the Sky, last April 25.
