The Audi bike, called Audi Wörthersee, made its debut at the 2012 Wörthersee Tour car show in Reifnitz, Austria.

Audi Wörthersee, a high-end pedelec for sport, is reportedly powered by electric motors or pedaling or a combination of both. The Audi bike, which features carbon fiber frame, can reach speeds of up to 50 miles per hour.

The high-tech Audi bike has an on-board computer that can analyze ride statistics, provide connection to smartphone and share riding data into Facebook page. It has a a Li-ion battery pack and carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) wheels, designed to minimize weight.

There are five travel modes available in the Audi bike prototype, that include pedal-power to electric-only, and inclusive of two “Wheelie” modes where the power is automatically controlled to assist the rider while the front wheel grabs some air.
