Will September 19, 2011, Monday, be declared by Malacanang as a special non-working holiday?

Transport groups, led by PISTON secretary-general George San Mateo, announced today that they will be holding a transport strike starting on September 19. According to the transport groups, there will be a series of localized transport strikes to express their sentiments after meeting with Philippine President Benigno Aquino III on Wednesday, September 14.
San Mateo said that PNoy only accepted to act on the single-ticketing scheme and the extortion of police officers and traffic enforcers on public utility vehicle drivers.
As a preliminary action on the transport groups sentiments, PNoy ordered today a review of the Oil Deregulation Law.
Declaring September 19 as a holiday will lessen the impact of the transport strike and spare the riding public from inconvenience. Provide your comments below if it is necessary to declare September 19 as a Special non-working holiday.
