Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa clarified today that President BenignoNoynoyAquino III has not declared All Soul‘s Day, November 2, 2010, as a holiday.

“He didn’t sign any proclamation, so go to work November 2,” Ochoa said.

The explanation was made by Ochoa in a press briefing at the VIP Lounge of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2.

The Cabinet members had a meeting at NAIA during PNoy‘s departure, for a state visit to Vietnam. PNoy will also attend the 17th ASEAN Summit meeting in Vietnam. Before his departure at around 9:20 a.m. today, PNoy delivered a two minute departure speech.
