There will be no classes tomorrow, October 26, 2010, in all public elementary and high schools nationwide.

The Department of Education (DepEd) decided to suspend all classes tomorrow, October 26, 2010, to let the public school teachers have enough rest after serving as members of the Board of Election Inspectors (BEI) in the 2010 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections held today. DepEd Secretary Armin Luistro made the announcement of suspension of classes today, October 25, 2010.

Some schools will not hold classes again on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 because elections were postponed for Tuesday, due to the delay in the delivery of election paraphernalias in the polling centers.

DepEd has left the discretion to private school officials, if they will suspend classes tomorrow, especially those private schools whose classrooms were used as polling precints.
