Typhoon Juan has changed its path and Metro Manila is now under signal number one. Here is the latest bulletin from the Philippine Atmospherice, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
As of 5:00 a.m., today (Monday, 18 October 2010), Typhoon “JUAN” was located at 220 km East of Tuguegarao City. (17.6°N, 123.9°E) with maximum sustained winds of 225 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 260 kph. Moving West Southwest at 19 kph. Estimated central pressure: 922 hpa..
With the change of Typhoon Juan‘s direction, PAGASA has updated its Public Storm Signals. Here is the new list of Public Storm Signals.
Public Storm Signal Number Four is now up in the following areas:
- Cagayan
- Isabela
- Kalinga
- Mt. Province
- Ifugao
Public Storm Signal Number Three is now up in the following areas:
- Batanes
- Calayan
- Babuyan Group of Islands
- Apayao
- Benguet
- Quirino
- Nueva Vizcaya
- Northern Aurora
Public Storm Signal Number Two is now in effect in these areas:
- Ilocos Norte
- Ilocos Sur
- Abra
- La Union
- Rest of Aurora
- Pangasinan
- Tarlac
- Nueva Ecija
- Polillio Island
