The rumored transfer of Willie Revillame to TV5 will now be confirmed by his new variety show-Wiling-Wili Kami. However, Revillame‘s newest television show will surely spark a legal debate, as ABS-CBN is standing pat on its decision that Revillame is still under contract with them. Who seems to be legally right between the two camps? Will Wiling-Wili Kami be a big hit like Wowowee?
Wiling-Wili Kami is said to be launched on October, 2010. Revillame‘s planned transfer to GMA-7 did not push through because Joey De Leon threatened to resign from the Kapuso Network if Revillame will be taken in.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN maintained that Willie Revillame is still under contract with them until September 2011. The Kapamilya Network reminded its rival tv stations about the exclusive contract between Revillame and ABS-CBN, thus, preventing the former from appearing in any other network. Revillame however claimed that his contract with ABS-CBN was severed upon his removal from Wowowee. The Kapamilya Network has suspended Revillame indefinitely, after his threat against ABS-CBN management that he will resign if the network giant will not fire Jobert Sucaldito.
