LeBron James scored 24 points, dished out five assists and grabbed six rebounds as the Cleveland Cavaliers took Game 1 of the first round of the 2010 NBA Playoffs against the Chicago Bulls.

The games final score: Cleveland 96, Chicago 83.  The win gave the Cavaliers a 1-0 series lead in the game seven series.

The Cavaliers showed no rust in their cohesiveness, both in offense and defense. They dominated the boards by getting a 50-31 rebound advantage.

Shaquille O’Neal had 12 points and five rebounds in his first game after missing nearly two months in nursing his surgically repaired thumb.

The Chicago Bulls point guard, Derrick Rose scored a game-high 28 while Forward Luol Deng had a measly 10 points on 4 of 11 shooting.

The Cavs shot 46 percent (39-for-84) , against 42 percent (37-for-87) for the Bulls — who attempted just seven 3-pointers and made only one.
