After the much talked about Ruffa Gutierrez Walkout, Kris Aquino issued an apology. Herewith is Kris’ apology to Ruffa:
I would like to extend a loving hug to Ruffa. I viewed the tape & although I still feel I gave my comment w/ affection, maybe it made her feel even worse because she’s now moving in a new direction.
It is w/ Ruffa that I enjoyed a healthy working relationship with & I only have good words to say about her. To Ruffa, I sincerely apologize for causing u hurt. My brother Noynoy would like to add that we live in a democracy, one where we are very free to make our own choice for president.
Hindi po ako mayabang, kaya ako nagpapakumbaba ngayon.
According to Ruffa’s camp, the actress staged the walkout on “The Buzz” last Sunday because of Kris.
Most political observers are now lamenting that Kris has been dragging down Noynoy’s campaign. Instead of gathering showbiz personality behind her, Kris is perceived to be driving away some of them to the detriment of Noynoy’s presidential bid.
