Jovit Baldovino, a 16-year old from Batangas, delivered a very touching rendition of “Faithfully” by Journey in the ABS-CBN talent search Pilipinas Got Talent.  The Batangueño, moved the three judges – Kris Aquino, Ai Ai delas Alas, Freddie Garcia with his “unbelievable” voice.

Garcia, Aquino and Delas Alas, gave a resounding approval for Baldovino’s impressive performance.  He also relate his perseverance and goal to get his family out of poverty.

Delas Alas even shed tears when Baldivino said: “Kahit po ako ay matalo dito, okay lang po. Basta po naipakita ko po sa inyo kung ano ang tunay na Pinoy.” (Even though I lose, it’s ok.  I just want to show the real Filipino)

Jovit BaldovinoBaldovino is a 4th year high school student who sells siomai after his class to help his family.  He shared that his goal is to finish his studies and, hopefully, become a popular singer.

Surely, Baldovino not only raised the pride of the Batanguenos, but the whole nation as well.
