Search giant Google, undergoes preliminary investigation from the European Commission (EC) over an antitrust complaint filed against them. Three firms filed the complaint, Foundem, ejustice.fr, and Ciao.
The EC, European Union’s highest antitrust body, conducts a preliminary investigation upon receipt of complaints about anticompetitive behavior. It makes a study the market being complained, and make interviews on companies involved and then a hands down a decision if their is a probable cause of launching a full investigation.
