Female power has done it again, as one female, overcome the odds by winning over four males. A twist of fortune has made Melisa Cantiveros the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Double Up edition Grand Winner. Melisa or Melai, overtook the earlier lead of housemate Paul Jake Castillo. PBB has been dominated by females in all its episodes, since only one male, Ruben Gonzaga, has ever won as Grand Winner during the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Season 2.
Melai, garnered 32.08% of the total text votes. She won a P2.5 million house-and-lot, and a lot of other prizes. Paul Jake, who led the text votes as of Tuesday, placed 2nd with 27.31% of the text votes. Jason Francisco, Melai’s boyfriend, is 3rd with a 24.97% of votes. Johan Santos and Tibo Jumalon ended up as the 4th and 5th placer.
The PBB Double Up edition’s finale was held at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
