The Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) College of Computer Studies in Batangas City celebrates its CCS Days from January 14-15. The activities theme is, “Programming the Minds of Individuals Through Technological Innovations“.
CCS Days first day activities:
- 8-9 am Mass
- 9-10 am Registration for the Thesis Exhibit at the SHL Freedom Hall
- 10-12pm Anino Games Seminar by Elson Niel Dagondon, President of Anino Games, Inc.
- 1-2pm Philippine Computer Society Seminar by Edgardo S. Marquez, Chairman of JPCS
- 2-5pm Research Forum
- Thesis to be presented are:
- Online Practicum Monitoring System
- Theme Customization for Mobile Phone
- E-Learning on Web Programming
- Calendar Event Texter

CCS Days 2nd Day Activities:
- 8am-5pm CCS Sports Festival
- 8-10am TroubleShowTime
- 10-12pm Networking Challenge
- 1-2pm Inter-Department IT Quiz Bee, Department IT Quiz Bee, and Programming Competition at SHL Computer Laboratories
- 3-4pm Essay Writing and Poster Making Contest
The last day of student activity will be highlighted by the Mr. and Ms. CCliciouS Pageant during the CCS Night.
The CCS Days activity was organized by the different CCS Student Organizations in coordination with the CCS faculty members, staff and MIS Department. CCS Student Organizations involved are: CCS Supreme Council, Junior Philippine Computer Society(JPCS), Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas Computer Society(LPBCS), Philippine Society of Information Technology Students(PSITS), CCS Chorale, CCS Dance Troupe.
The College of Computer Studies is headed by its Dean, Roselie B. Alday.
