Sea Tragedy in Batangas

The Philippines continued to be hounded by series of sea mishaps, had another one last night.  A new vessel, M/V Baleno 9,  sank in the waters of Verde Island Batangas while on its way to Batangas City.  The vessel came from Calapan City in Oriental Mindoro.

There were more than 60 passengers on board the said vessel and luckily all have been rescued, thanks to the timely response of M/V Baleno 3 and Reina De Los Angeles of Montenegro Lines.

M/V Baleno is a Roll-On Roll-Off (RORO) vessel.  It was the second sea mishap in less than a week after the sea collision of a fishing boat and a ferry in Limbones Island in Cavite in the early morning of Christmas Eve that left 3 dead and dozen missing.

Di kaya malas sa MARINA si Elena Bautista? Simula ng maging Administrator si Madam Elena dumami na ang lumubog na barko. At tsaka di ba command responsibility dapat yan? I think there is incompetence on the part of Elena Bautista. In less than a week there had been two sea tragedies. Nakakangiti pa sya sa TV ah. Medyo matibay din naman sikmura nya.
