Before, it is Friendster. Now, it is Facebook that I am throwing into the bin. Three weeks ago, I decided to quit Facebook, specifically Facebook Applications. Why?
- I suffered from insomnia. Because of facebook applications such as Farmville, and Cafe World, I suffered from sleep disorder and worst, I experienced a lot of sleepless nights.
- I cannot concentrate in my work and studies. There are times that my mind is filled with the words-harvest, plow, plant, cook and so on.
- I felt facebook is eating up a lot of my precious time. I know that I can do more important things and be more productive by avoiding facebook.
- I am wasting electricity. Playing facebook applications sometimes need a lot of computing time and resources.
- I am wasting my energy. I feel sleepy during the times that I need to be awake.
- I am starting to be addicted to facebook applications. I do not want to be addicted.
- I am getting physically horrible. My eyebag is getting bigger due to lack of sleep. I am having a headache every now and then. My eyes are getting blurred.
- I am starting to be disorganized. I cannot cope up with all of my schedules because I am losing my priorities.
- I am starting to be emotionally and psychologically carried away by these facebook applications.
- I want to quit. Period! Goodbye Facebook!

Good decision. Social networking sites are only good for keeping in contact with friends…. but you also have a phone and email for that. Everything else is basically for entertainment. Congrats!
Thanks. Am still trying to fight off the temptation til now. hehehe
First, I find it incredible when you mention saving energy or electricity. You could have saved both by redacting the entire thing to the one reason you are quitting:
You have no will power to avoid the games and as such you spend too much time playing them.
Maybe that’s my human side. hehehe. Thanks for dropping by.
it’s a good source of ideas for blog posts.
lots of people are searching for facebook application tips, tricks, cheats. i play these games so i have something to post about and earn something.
