Google is still the dominant search engine. Bing is Microsoft’s new search engine that is desperately trying everything to bump Google from the top. The war has shifted to maps. Bing will be coming up with it’s own Bing maps to rival Google maps. Microsoft has already the beta test mode that offers a much cleaner technology. Users will be able to zoom in more smoothly from high up. Bing is trying to match Google’s technology by sending cars on the streets and get images using camera. Microsoft targets around 56 cities for now. Microsoft now uses lasers to scan buildings to reconstruct it into a virtual model. This technology will allow anyone to stand outside of the Museum Of Art, or walk inside to see the art. More updates are currently in progress, thus reviving the search war. Microsoft recently closed a deal with Yahoo to complement its search engine Bing.
