The much awaited World Pyro Olympics 2009 started last night. The competition will pitted Germany against China.
The competion was held at Fort Open Grounds, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. It will be a 5 consecutive week of competition.
The following is the schedule of the Olympics:
- November 21. Germany (Nico Lunig) vs China (Glorious)
- November 28. Canada (Pyro Studios) vs Australia (Explosive Productions)
- December 5. Japan (Marutamaya Ogatsu) vs Italy (Parente)
- December 12. South Korea (Hanwha) vs USA (RES)
- December 19. Fellowship of Fire (All Participants) and Philippine Exhibition (La Mancha)

- VIP – P1500
- Season Pass (Watch all 5 nights for the price of 4) – Special P2000, VIP – P6000
