Link Baiting

The attack made by a certain Rian of “RianTalk” on Mr. Marhgil of “Macuha – Make Money Online Philippines” is really link baiting.  The guy obviously is just doing his thing-driving traffic to his site.  I think everyone should not be too sensitive on this issue created by Rian.  It has been all over the Web for quite a while.  And I think, he just tested the waters by attacking Marhgil.  And since many reacted, he succeeded no matter what type of reactions he received by doing it.  I congratulate Rian for his success but I am also quite disappointed by what he has done.

Why did I react on the issue? I just wanted to emphasize ethical standards on the internet.  I believe there is still no definite Netiquette standards that governs the internet.  That only means that we should govern our own actions over the internet.  No matter how good our own intentions, the bottom line still is that we should not step on others toes.   We can be more creative.  I for one is a newbie in blogging and I always read the positive inputs made by Marhgil and Selaplana of “I Make Money Online by Blogging” on how I will find success in this field.  Hopefully, we Filipino bloggers can have our own Bible to be our guide in our everyday life over the internet.  We can maybe come up with our  Ten Filipino Internet Commandments? Or maybe a registered Association of Filipino Bloggers will be a nice group? Let’s join forces guys. If Filipinos are the number one texter in the world, then its also possible that we can also be a blogger capital of the world.
